Welcome to Aven Row.

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website and the purchase of products from Aven Row. Please read them carefully before placing an order.

By accessing our website or placing an order with us, you agree to these Terms & Conditions together with our Privacy Policy, Shipping & Delivery Policy and Returns & Refunds Policy.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory rights under applicable UK consumer law.

2. Using Our Website

You may use our website for lawful personal shopping and informational purposes.

You must not knowingly misuse our website, interfere with its normal operation, attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, introduce malicious software or use the website for fraudulent or unlawful purposes.

We may temporarily suspend access to all or part of the website where reasonably necessary for maintenance, security, technical updates or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

3. Product Information

We take reasonable care to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, specifications, sizing information and other product details displayed on our website are accurate.

Colours may appear slightly different depending on your screen, display settings, lighting and photography.

Measurements and sizing information may include reasonable manufacturing tolerances.

Product photographs are provided to help represent the appearance and details of each item, but minor variations may occur where appropriate.

Nothing in this section limits your rights where goods are faulty, not as described or otherwise fail to meet applicable legal requirements.

4. Product Availability

All products are subject to availability.

Adding an item to your shopping bag does not reserve that item.

In rare circumstances, an item may become unavailable after an order has been submitted.

If we cannot supply an item you have ordered, we will contact you and, where payment has already been taken for the unavailable item, arrange an appropriate refund.

5. Prices

Product prices are displayed on our website in the currency selected or otherwise shown to you.

The total amount payable, including applicable delivery charges and other charges collected by us, will be displayed before you complete your purchase.

Where applicable, taxes included in or added to the price will be handled in accordance with relevant legal requirements.

Prices may change from time to time, but changes will not normally affect an order for which a contract has already been formed.

6. Pricing Errors

Despite our reasonable efforts, a product may occasionally be displayed with an incorrect price.

If we discover an obvious pricing error before your order has been accepted, we may contact you to give you the opportunity to purchase the item at the correct price or cancel the affected item.

We will not deliberately use misleading pricing practices.

7. Promotions & Discount Codes

Promotional offers and discount codes may be subject to additional conditions displayed when the promotion is offered.

Unless otherwise stated, promotional codes:

  • Must be entered before checkout is completed.
  • Cannot normally be exchanged for cash.
  • May be restricted to selected products or customers.
  • May have an expiry date.
  • May not be combinable with another promotion.

Any material restrictions applying to a promotion will be communicated clearly to customers.

8. Placing an Order

To place an order, select the products you wish to purchase, provide the requested information and complete the checkout process.

Before submitting your order, you will have an opportunity to review relevant order information and correct errors.

By submitting an order that requires payment, you are making an offer to purchase the products in your order subject to these Terms & Conditions.

9. Order Confirmation & Contract Formation

After submitting an order, you should receive an automated email acknowledging that we have received it.

An acknowledgement of your order does not necessarily mean that the order has been accepted.

Unless we tell you otherwise during checkout or in your order communications, the contract for the purchase of goods is formed when we accept your order and confirm that it is being fulfilled or dispatched.

We recommend retaining your order confirmation and these Terms & Conditions for your records.

10. Refusing or Cancelling an Order

In limited circumstances, we may be unable to accept or fulfil an order.

This may occur, for example, where:

  • The product is unavailable.
  • We cannot authorise or process payment.
  • We identify an obvious pricing or product information error.
  • We reasonably suspect fraudulent or unlawful activity.
  • Delivery to the requested destination is unavailable.
  • We are unable to fulfil the order for another legitimate reason.

Where we cancel an order after receiving payment, we will arrange a refund for the affected amount.

11. Payment

Available payment methods will be displayed during checkout.

Payments may be processed through Shopify Payments and/or other payment service providers made available on our website.

By submitting payment information, you confirm that you are authorised to use the payment method provided.

Payment providers may carry out verification, security and fraud-prevention checks before approving a transaction.

12. Fraud Prevention

We may use reasonable measures designed to protect Aven Row and our customers against fraudulent transactions and unauthorised payment activity.

Where reasonably necessary, an order may be delayed or reviewed while payment or order information is verified.

13. Delivery

Delivery options, charges and estimated delivery times applicable to your order will be displayed during checkout.

Further information is available in our Shipping & Delivery Policy .

Unless a different delivery period has been agreed, goods will be delivered without undue delay and in accordance with applicable UK consumer law.

14. Risk & Ownership

Responsibility for goods will pass to you in accordance with applicable consumer law when the goods come into your physical possession, or the possession of a person identified by you to receive them where applicable.

Ownership of the goods will pass to you once we have received payment in full, subject to applicable law.

15. Your Right to Cancel an Online Order

Where the statutory right to cancel applies to your purchase, you generally have the right to tell us that you wish to cancel within 14 days after receiving the goods, without having to give a reason.

After notifying us of an eligible cancellation, you generally have a further 14 days to return the goods.

Different rules or statutory exceptions may apply to certain types of products.

Full instructions and information regarding returns, cancellations and refunds are provided in our Returns & Refunds Policy .

16. Trying On Clothing

You may examine and try on clothing to the extent reasonably necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and fit, similar to how you would normally examine an item in a physical shop.

If an item has been handled beyond what is reasonably necessary and its value has been reduced as a result, this may affect the amount refundable where permitted by applicable law.

17. Return Condition

When returning unwanted clothing, please take reasonable care of the product while it is in your possession.

Where applicable, returned products should be sent back with original labels and tags attached and with any original accessories supplied with the product.

Please avoid wearing products beyond what is reasonably necessary to check their fit and appearance.

Additional information can be found in our Returns & Refunds Policy .

18. Faulty, Damaged or Misdescribed Goods

We want every Aven Row order to meet the standards customers are entitled to expect.

If a product is faulty, damaged, not as described or otherwise does not meet your statutory rights, please contact: info@avenrow.co.uk.

Please provide your order number and details of the issue. Photographs may be helpful when assessing damage or faults.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or restricts the remedies available to consumers under applicable law for faulty or misdescribed goods.

19. Refunds

Eligible refunds will be processed in accordance with our Returns & Refunds Policy and applicable consumer law.

Where possible, refunds will normally be made using the original payment method.

The time it takes for a refunded amount to appear in your account after it has been processed may depend on your bank or payment provider.

20. Sale Items

Products purchased during a sale or promotion remain subject to applicable statutory consumer rights.

Any additional return conditions applying to a promotional purchase will be communicated clearly and will not override rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

21. Pre-Orders

Selected products may occasionally be offered for pre-order.

Where an item is offered for pre-order, the expected availability or dispatch information will be displayed on the relevant product page where appropriate.

Estimated pre-order dates may change because of circumstances relating to manufacturing, transportation or fulfilment.

Where a material delay occurs, we will take reasonable steps to communicate relevant information to affected customers.

22. International Orders

We may offer delivery to selected destinations outside the United Kingdom.

International customers are responsible for reviewing any import requirements applicable in their destination country.

Where customs duties, import taxes or other charges are not collected by us during checkout, they may be payable separately by the recipient.

Further information is provided in our Shipping & Delivery Policy .

23. Customer Accounts

Where customer accounts are available, you are responsible for keeping account access information reasonably secure.

You should contact us if you reasonably believe that your account has been accessed or used without authorisation.

We may suspend or restrict account access where reasonably necessary to protect security, prevent fraud or investigate suspected misuse.

24. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, the content made available through the Aven Row website, including our branding, website design, text, graphics, logos, photographs, videos and other creative materials, is owned by or licensed to Aven Row and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may access and use the website for personal, non-commercial shopping purposes.

You must not reproduce, commercially exploit, distribute, modify or republish protected website content without the permission of the relevant rights holder, except where permitted by law.

25. Reviews & Customer Content

Where our website allows customers to submit reviews, photographs or other content, the content you submit must be lawful and must not knowingly infringe another person's rights.

Reviews should reflect genuine experiences and must not contain intentionally false, misleading, abusive or unlawful material.

We may moderate customer content where reasonably necessary, including to address unlawful content, spam, security concerns or content unrelated to the relevant product or service.

26. Third-Party Services & Links

Our website may contain links to websites or services operated by third parties, such as payment providers, social networks or other external services.

We are not responsible for the independent content, availability or practices of third-party websites that we do not operate.

We recommend reviewing the applicable terms and privacy information of any third-party service you choose to use.

27. Website Availability

We aim to keep the Aven Row website accessible and operating correctly, but we cannot guarantee that the website will always be available without interruption.

Temporary interruptions may occur because of maintenance, technical problems, security requirements or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

28. Our Responsibility to You

We do not exclude or limit liability where doing so would be unlawful.

In particular, nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude or restrict liability or consumer remedies that cannot legally be excluded or restricted.

If we fail to comply with these Terms & Conditions, our responsibility to you will be determined in accordance with applicable law and the circumstances of the matter.

29. Events Outside Our Reasonable Control

We will not be responsible for a failure or delay caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control to the extent permitted by law.

Such circumstances may include significant transport disruption, severe weather, network or infrastructure failures, governmental action or other exceptional events.

This section does not remove any rights you may have where applicable law gives you a remedy for delayed or undelivered goods.

30. Personal Information

We process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy .

Please review that policy for information about how personal information is collected, used, stored and shared and about your data protection rights.

31. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect changes to our business, website, services or applicable legal requirements.

The Terms & Conditions applicable to your purchase will generally be those in effect when the relevant contract is formed.

The most recent version will be available on our website.

32. If Part of These Terms Is Invalid

If a court or other competent authority determines that a provision of these Terms & Conditions is unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.

33. No Waiver

If we do not immediately enforce a right available to us under these Terms & Conditions, this does not necessarily mean that we have waived that right.

34. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions and contracts between you and Aven Row are governed by the applicable laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you.

If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you may also benefit from mandatory rights relating to the courts and laws applicable where you live.

We aim to resolve customer concerns fairly and efficiently.
